Our purpose
Katya Concerts for Kids was established in 2024 to bring hope, wonder, and inspiration to some of the nation's most deserving and underserved children — many of whom have never heard live classical music or imagined themselves inside a grand concert hall.
As the music fills the space — whether beneath the soaring ceilings of a magnificent concert hall or within the walls of a humble school gymnasium — they feel something powerful. They carry it with them.

The artist behind the mission
Born in Moscow, Russia, Katya discovered her purpose in the world's great concert halls. She has performed for U.S. presidents and international royalty, and has completed 23 seasons at Carnegie Hall. Since 2008 she has brought classical music to inner-city New York children, and in 2024 she founded Katya Concerts for Kids to carry that mission further.
